Hello again everybody, blogging live from CSULB! Should have blogged about this week earlier, just that I'm just waaaaay too lazy to! KeKeKe!
This 'bootcamp' as we call it lasts from the 11th to the 15th (Monday thru Friday). There are 3 courses that are offered: Editors 1, Editors 2, and InDesign Workshop. Thank goodness I'm not in the Editors sessions, I can't bare to sit through lectures anymore....
Let's start with Day 1
------DAY 1------
Ahhh good ol' CSULB, been about a year since I was here. Nothing has really changed, except that they're remodeling some of the buildings. Good to know that at least some people are here right now. Jessica, Antiem, Crystal, and the Editor 1 peoples. First we were all just freaking out 'cause a lot of the people who were supposed to be here today...ARE NOT! Vrooman's not showing up till tomorrow so Crystal is here in her place. Right now we're just kinda freaked out that Vrooman will chew us up and spit us out tomorrow >.............<
Guess what happens today! LECTURES! Yes, LECTURES! Dear god, somebody kill me, I can sit through this freaking stuff!!! Grawwrrrr. Good thing Amara said that today is the only day we'll really have a lecture.

AX 2008 REEEECAAAAAAAP!!!
Aye yo, I know I've been neglecting my posting duties for this blog, but it just slips my mind whenever something interesting comes up...like AX for example. And that's the sole reason why I'm going to post this. HERE I GO!

Okay so I haven't been to AX for like a year. Nothing has changed... except that it was in LA this year!! ROLL DRAMATIC MUSIC!
*BUM BUM BUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM*

Anyhoooo, I only went for 2 days this year, why not 4 you ask? Because I can. I spent around $135 or so in those 2 days, and here's a list of what I bought.

Hatsune Miku print ----- $5
Gurren Lagann Revoltech figure ----- $20
Fate/Hollow Ataraxia Saber special costume figure ----- $20
Gloomy bear hat thingy (which I gave to Shara) ----- $20
Small Prinny plushie (for Shara) ----- $20 duuuuuuuuuuuuuude!
Vongola Storm ring ----- $10
Shokotan T-shirt ----- $15
Food n' Drinks ----- $25
Shokotan autograph and me being a complete otaku? ---- Priceless
It was nice to meet up with my brother and have lunch with him (Justin tagged along too, lunch brought to us by my mom bwahahahahaha). He was asked by Bang! Zoom! Entertainment to shoot AX Backstage with them so he was basically producing it. While eating with him, he shared stories of what happened to him during the past 2 days. Good stuff I tell you gooooood stuffffff.
But I have to say, I am a bit disappointed about the Masquerade. It was over 2 hours before they said it would be over! It went SURPRISINGLY smooth this year compared to previous years. That's pretty much all I can come up with at the moment, if anything else springs into my mind, I'll blog it up . Thank you AX for getting me in good terms with a certain someone.
Ciao for now.

To-LOVE-Ru Anime
Sweet Jesus, the time has finally come. I heard about the Anime airing sometime in April, sometime in January. I completely forgot about it until Stephen brought it up at school. That bastard.
He was like, "Dude, Chris I watched the first episode yesterday. It's like crazy ecchi, I don't know how to explain it."
Yup. First thing I did when I got home was hop onto Veoh and look for the episode(s). There were two of them subbed when I found what I wanted.
Okay here I go.

"Wooooooowwww." That's all I could say right when the OP for the Anime started. Freaking SUPER ECCHI. It was crazy. But besides that, I loved how one of my favorite female characters is animated now!!!

Anyway. I'll just link you the Wiki page for the series and let you find out for yourself. It seems that the Anime will air a full season of 24 episodes around 24 minutes each(no commercials).

Yup that is all for today. I haven't had a chance to blog for quite a while.. or I'm just hella' lazy.

CSPA Conference Day 1.5
Right now we're in the John Jay Dining Hall leeching internet from the college. I finally got a chance to post about my trip. Let's see how this goes 'kay? I'm just gonna copy and paste the stuff I typed into Word last night.
COPY AND PASTED FROM WORD:
NOTE: I can finally blog about my trip to New York! We don’t have Wi-Fi access at the hotel, but we do have it at the college! Heh, awesome no? Right now I’m typing into Word so when I can, I’m going to copy and paste this into multiple posts. I hate having an ultra long post so I won’t have one of those.
Today is March 18th. We started to attend the CSPA conference today. To sum it up, the day consists of 4 sessions that are 45 minutes each. Between the 2nd and the 3rd we have an hour and a half lunch break. It’s fun because I feel like a college student walking around.
Sorry to say that my camera was broken so I WILL NOT be posting any pictures of the campus or other stuff… Unless I decide to steal pictures from the group members that did bring a camera! Bwahahahaha.
Okay, moving on. The most interesting sessions of the day were the layout design ones. It really got me thinking about how we would do it because our paper is only in Black and White. So this means that we have to play around with the greyscale to get the right tones and stuff. I also learned quite a lot from the design sessions. As for the last two, one of them was chill and the other was almost a complete bore! I almost fell asleep twice today because I only had 4 hours or so of sleep. Seriously people…
After the conference concluded for the day ( for us anyway..) We walked back to the hotel to dry off and relax a bit. Around 6:30 ET, we set out for Edgar’s Café for dinner. I had the most awesome, yet most expensive, sandwich I’ve ever eaten!!! I’m almost a pro at Italian food and have developed my own taste for it. After that, we walked back to the hotel and got settled back in. Tomorrow it seems that we’re going to the Good Morning America filming or whatever. We get to be on T.V.! But… we have to wake up at like 4:00 to get ready and have to leave the hotel around 5:15 or something. Such a tight ship huh? But seriously though, this trip is shaping up to be REALLY fun.
Well… More to blog about tomorrow, till then.

Rosario+Vampire Anime Airing!
WOOT! Uber excited. Even thought I just picked up the manga ( I love you Franky-House) I'm a fan of the series already.
The show is animated by GONZO, the OP & ED is sung by 七瑞希(Nana Mizuki). The OP is supposed to be COSMIC LOVE and is used for the first episode ending. The ED is... uhh... Dancing in the Velvet Moon? Nana's single is due out in Feb so keep your fingers crossed!! She is also the seiyu for Moka-chan! WOOTZ!
Now to wait for the next episode of the Anime and the next chapter for the Manga... DAMN YOU CLIFFHANGERS!

First day of school of the New Year!
Wow, school was tiring, so much crap still left to do, and finals are coming up soon... I could have gone with about another week of doing absolutely nothing. Shoot, I get to see my friends at least.
Nothing really interesting, the usual school day, WAS supposed to rain... those bastards. Damn though, so much work I have to do in just a week's time.
1. Put the finishing touches on the History Project. And wait for the 3 R-Tards to give me their crap that I'm supposed to put on the powerpoint.
2. Since I couldn't come up with any other story ideas for the paper this month, I might end up writing about the Gahr Simulation that's suppose to take place this Friday from like after school till like 8PM or something. What a good waste of time heehee. But I only have to come up questions that I'll be asking the MUN members.
3. OMG FINALS ARE COMING!
That's about all the ranting for now. American Gladiators is on so Imma go watch it. KuKuKu.
Until tomorrow friends and foes!
I leave you with this:

BACK TO BLOGGING!
First: I apologize for neglecting my blogging duties! ごめんね〜〜!
Second: Since the last post, I've discovered many WONDERFUL Manga series' and of the course the usual something-just-kind-of-happened-to-land-in-my-hands.
Third: WINTER BREAK IS ALMOST OVER!? When was this decided? Oh, since the beginning of time? Okay then.
I just recently picked up a couple different Manga series'... Well YOU don't expect me to read only 2-3 series' do you?
Here they are:
1. To-LOVE-Ru
2. Rosario+Vampire
3. Mx0
4. Unbalance x Unbalance
5. Hayate the Combat Butler
Those 5 adding on to Mahou Sensei Negima!?, BLEACH, Naruto, and D.Gray-man. Don't ask about why I read about 3 of the new ones I'm reading... Let's just say: They are very interesting to me. GOT IT!?
Ahem.
As for other news you probably wouldn't care about, for Christmas I got an iPod Touch, money, new pedals for my car, an iTunes gift card, and a new wireless mouse. HO-YEAH!
My brother left for Japan the day after, I went to a New Years party at Ted's place, meh, nothing exciting huh? Well, I don't really have anything else to say, all I did was spend break reading manga and watching anime.
For that Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagan review here it is:
EXCELLENT! That freaking series is FREAKING AAWWEESSOOMMEE! The ending was OK, but COME ON, Uber awesome last episode mech that's as big as a galaxy? FUCKING GOLDEN. But what was strange about the last couple episodes was that: almost all the other Ganmen pilots sacrifice themselves to help Simon and the Gurren-dan. Sound familiar to anyone?
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is a MUST WATCH. GO WATCH IT NOW, GO, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!?
