Well, it looks like this blog may be useful for something after all... First off:

So it has been quite a while since I last posted something on here, eh? Hahahaha. To be honest, I'm just really lazy, that's all. Most of the time I really don't want to just sit down and type stuff, like I'm doing right now.

Well yeah. Linquist is making us 'start' a blog for English. I think it's rather convenient, seeing as how I can just post up the homework here; instead of typing it in Word then printing out a hard copy. Meh, whatever floats your boat. Guess I'll have to use this more often, huh?

FIRST TANGENT: So I bought my new Chef Knife today. Dropped like $114 for it. That was with the discount, so you could say it was a really good deal. Muahahah. Now for it to just sit in the box for the next 3 weeks until I can use the damned thing.

All right, let's move on to the other interesting stuff: Anime and Manga.

Nothing really surprising in this department. New Anime, continuing Anime. You know the drill. zzzzzzzzzzzz

The one I'm particularly looking forward to right now is the adaptation of huke's Black Rock Shooter. The CM for it looks very promising, I can't wait! I'm also quite surprised at some of the other adaptations as well. ESPECIALLY OMAMORI HIMARI! YES. I am one fucking happy ass camper. haahahha.

Rough (2)day(s)

Man, today was pretty rough, we fucked up a lot, and I'm pretty sure I could have done better; I just wasn't prepared.

Fabrication class is pretty rough, so much stuff we need to do, and we can't half-ass anything in there either; because the things that we fabricate go to the other classes that need to use them to cook with.

Some problems here and there. Bone were still in the fillets, cartilage still on the chicken n stuff like that. We had to fix all that stuff before we could cryovac all them goodies... oh well..... Sous chef for Thursday... also Shellfish day, I wonder how it'll go.... oh yeah btw, i burned the hell outa my hand; from the middle of my thumb across my hand in a straight line. yeah, it hurts like a bitch!

So I just got my hair cut again since it was getting a bit long and we have to keep our hair under caps during class @ all times. Well you should know why, you don't want hair in your food do you? hahahahah.

But yeah, the daily grind is rather boring.

Alarm set @ 7:35AM... Hit snooze until 8:10AM... Shower... Eat... Off to Metro Station... Ride train for hour and a half to Pasadena... Walk about 10 minutes to school from station... 5 hours of class, no breaks... Chill a bit with classmates after class... Head back to station... Train for another hour and a half back... Home.

On another note, we fabricated chicken and fish today. Man, I have to say, eviscerating a fish is pretty fun... pretty bloody tho. Fabricating the chicken is pretty annoying tho, we have to cut all the cartilage and stuff off then cut them into the specific pieces that are needed. Airline breast, Supreme(SU-PREM) breat, French leg/thigh, Leg and Thigh Combo, etc. It's a fucking mess. Ran out of Thai Red Snapper so I had to pick up the big ass Striped Trout. De-fin that sucker, remove the scales, take out the gills and...

EVISCERATE! BAM. No joke, it's a bloody mess... Still feels awkward sticking my hand in there and just tearing out all of its insides.. wwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

How's everyone doing? Pretty well, I hope. So yeah my head, neck, back and knees have been totally killing me since last night..

DAMN YOU RAIN! This happens every time it rains zzzzzzzz. oh well, Ive learned to deal with it so meh.

I actually slept a bunch today because of my headaches so i didnt really do anything. I did have some really good ramen tho, ill tell you that muah.

Ladies versus Butlers! just got subbed... rather just went live for DDL. After checking out Random Curiosity, it seems just like another Kanokon in the making; with its fanservice and all... not sure I'll pick it up, but we'll see. It's downloading right now so......


I'm gonna go back to make some more tea and read some more RAW Yotsubato!... who needs it to be scanslated? It's pretty damn easy to make out... even with my 4 years of Japanese. I mean really?

Rather Long Hiatus, No?

Wow, its been such a long time since I posted something here! NEW YEARS RESOLUTION: BLOG!? lol. Like that would be a real resolution(?)

Lets recap on my life a bit while its fresh in my head, ya?
Hmmmmmm..... where to start... where to start.....

WELL, one thing would be entering culinary school!
I wasn't really quite sure what to major in college for the longest time, then it hit me while watching TV... CULINARY SCHOOL. I mean, why not?

Man, I've met so many cool and new people after entering LCB. We've all only known each other for about 3 months or so, so far. Everyone in the class is like family to each other, we watch each other's backs n stuff. Share tools, mis out for each other, TEAMWORK! We just finished Intro to Baking, boy was that class fun and easy. Chef was really cool, and there weren't really much problems. I've learned to make so many different foods it's crazy, oh well, ONTO MEAT FAB AFTER BREAK! then prolly garde manger or something... it wouldnt really surprise me.

Well, other than Culinary school, nothing has really changed. Livin the life of a single boy living @ home :P

Fall season was great, there were a lot of interesting new series like Nyankoi!, Kobato, To Aru Kagaku no Railgun, Tegami Bachi, Fairy Tail, Darker than Black S2, Seitokai no Ichizon, just to name a few.

I'm really looking forward to next season after watching some of the trailers for it... Mainly Omamori Himari! WOOOOOOOOO!

Asu no Yoichi!....はじめ！

オッス！みんなさん！

I have officially made posting on this blog one of my resolutions for this year. I know I keep saying this for my past posts that date back with intervals of a couple weeks to months, but I'm trying my hardest to do this! So everybody, I'm counting on you as well to read my random crap I type on here and anything else that may happen to slip out of my mind, to my hands, and onto your monitor!

First order of business. ASU NO YOICHI! Finally.... you have become animated!


Asu no Yoichi! is about high school sophomore Yoichi Karasuma who has left the mountain to live with the Ikarugas in the city. He just so happens to be a student of Kamikaze swordplay as well. Not long after he enters the city, there is already a misunderstanding between Yoichi and the eldest sister of the Ikaruga family, Ibuki.... who just so happens to the the sensei of the Ikaruga dojo!
Got the above from Wikipedia, well a majority of it anyway, it's not exactly a full-on copy and paste.

I'm waiting for the the first episode to finish downloading so I'll let you guys know what I think of it when I finish watching it! I really like the manga so the only reason i would NOT like Asu no Yoichi! would be if they pulled a Minami-Ke Okawari on us.

Boredomm, yes, TWO M's!

Whoop dee freakin' doo

It's Wednesday and I'm fucking tired, bored, and hungry. There's nothing to do at home, the only exciting event is that IT'S ALMOST THE WEEKEND! CHYESSSSSssssSsSSSSS!

I have yet to recover from Winter Break so I'm still in almost-permanent weekend mode. 2 weeks has really thrown me off, my mind is all confuzzled when I think... Should probably get that fixed soon since finals are coming up. Oh man, don't even get me started on that shit. It's ridiculous.

No new Anime to talk about as of yet. They're also being real slow with the new Gundam 00 episode, HURRY UP DAMMIT, I WANT MOAR OVERPOWERED MECHAS GOING PEWPEWPEWPEWPEW with pink laser beams of course.

I'm kinda of waiting for them to sub Sora Kake Girl so I can watch that since I missed it at AX. For you people who don't know what that is, in english, it means "The Girls who leapt through Time" or something around those lines. I heard it was really good, but I spent most of my time walking around the exhibition hall and chilling with my brother and his friends.

Well that's enough for today, I'm gonna go find something to keep me entertained.
